[AC-201] When a device is installed

  1. Instruct the on-site engineer before he/she leaves the site,

    1. Quick Tuning- The aim for quick tuning is to identify the correct in and out directions and enable the device to perform the counting once it is installed. Refer to the quick tuning guidelines

    2. Walk Test - The aim for walk test need to be simulated based on actual customer walking pattern to walk through all the possible pathway and collect enough sample size in order for Tuning team to tune the device based on the sufficient sample size. Refer to the Walk test guidelines

  2. Complete the "OF14- Site Completion Form,

    1. if there's any special tuning requirement, request it in the "Special Requirement" section.

 [AC-202] Tuning using Offline Simulator

  1. For devices that have created a OF 14-Site completion Form

    1. Schedule video recordings - You may want to schedule the video at the peak hours which has more sample size as a baseline to start tuning. Follow the guide here to schedule the video

    2. Tuning - Download the recorded video and use the offline simulator tool we have provided with the latest version in your partner portal to start the tuning.

    3. Upload Parameters

      1. If satisfactory, change the Accuracy tuning status to "Tuned".  FootfallCam will observe accuracy, will improvise if necessary, and issue a Device Accuracy Certificate.

      2. If you cannot carry out the tuning task, raise a support ticket under the category of "Accuracy Tuning Request" with the indication of the issue facing during tuning.

[AC-203] Engineer call-out for accuracy impediments

  1. For tickets in the support portal under the category of "Onsite Installation Issue", FootfallCam will raise the ticket to address the concern:

    1. "Installed height is outside Device model's range" - Required an engineer callout to swap the device (Following engineer callout SOP)

    2. "Existing device(s) cannot cover the whole entrance"- Required an engineer to install an additional device (Following new installation SOP)

    3. "Position not ideal" - Required engineer callout to reposition (Following engineer callout SOP)

    4. "Device Issue" - Required an engineer callout to investigate the issue and swap out the device with a new unit if necessary.  (Following engineer callout SOP and RMA SOP) Call-out engineer may expect to bring a new unit to the site.
